Rate card
What we charge if a bike comes back late, damaged or without a part. Published before you book, the same list as at Sote Hub.
Late return
You have 15 minutes’ grace after your booked return time. After that, each started hour is charged as the next hourly package, for each bike on the booking, and never more than the day rate per bike for each day. The charge is worked out when the bike is back, added to your booking and printed on your receipt.

A day rate is KSh 1,000 for a bike and KSh 2,000 for an ebike. A bike not back within 24 hours, with no word from you, is treated as lost (clause 6.4 of the hire terms).
Damage and loss
No charges listed yet. Until a list is published here, nothing is charged for damage or loss without an itemised quote you can check against the photographs taken when the bike went out and came back.
Each charge reflects what the part and the labour to fit it actually cost us. Normal wear and tear is ours. A charge is itemised in writing with photographs from the handover and the return, and a final charge is never more than 10% above an estimate we gave you. With damage cover, accidental damage to the bike costs you nothing (clause 8.5 of the hire terms).
Deposit
No deposit is taken unless we tell you before you pay.
